KIKKOU (Turtle Shell Pattern); Japanese traditional pattern
A pattern came from the hexagon of a turtle shell. Turtles are considered a symbol of longevity in Japan. KIKKOU is one of the Kissho Monyo (auspicious omens motifs) that has been loved and used for many years.
Features of The Fabric: There are original features of silk such as antioxidant action, skin friendly, moisture retention, hygroscopicity, ultraviolet ray cutting.
Kyoto craftsmen do the whole process of dyeing, weaving and sewing silk.
The lining is made of 100% cotton fabric, which is soft to the touch and highly absorbent.
It is also used in Japanese kimonos.
